1. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, dedicated to the nation, Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, a petrochemical complex, at Lepetkata, near Dibrugarh. He also dedicated to the nation, the wax plant of Numaligarh Refineries Limited.
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने डिब्रूगढ़ के समीप लेपेटकाटा में एक पेट्रो रसायन परिसर, ब्रह्मपुत्र क्रेकर एंड पॉलिमर लिमिटेड को राष्ट्र को समर्पित किया। इसके अलावा प्रधानमंत्री ने नुमालीगढ़ रिफाइनरीज लिमिटेड के वैक्स प्लांट (मोम संयंत्र) को भी राष्ट्र के नाम किया।
2. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley launched the official YouTube channel of the Ministry with a view to disseminate information on a real-time basis. The channel will feature videos on major schemes, events, meetings and press conferences related to the ministry.
वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने वास्तविक समय के आधार पर जानकारी के प्रसारण के लिये वित्त मंत्रालय का एक आधिकारिक यू-ट्यूब चैनल लॉन्च किया। यह चैनल पर प्रमुख सरकारी स्कीमों, समारोहों, बैठकों, प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस आदि के वीडियो प्रदर्शित होंगे।
3. The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the South Asian Games at Guwahati, Assam. The events related to South Asian Games are to be held in Guwahati & Shillong till 16-Feb-2016.This is the biggest sporting extravaganza ever held in the North East India. and the 1st ever gender equal South Asian Games with men & women participation in all the sports.
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने गुवाहाटी में एक भव्य समारोह में 12वें दक्षिण एशियाई खेलों का शुभारंभ किया। पांच फरवरी 2016 से 16 फरवरी 2016 तक चलने वाले दक्षिण एशियाई खेलों का आयोजन गुवाहाटी और शिलांग में हो रहा है। यह पूर्वोत्तर भारत में आयोजित होने वाला सबसे बड़ा खेल महोत्सव है। पहली बार इसमें लैंगिक समानता भी देखने को मिलेगी क्योंकि इस बार के दक्षिण एशियाई खेलों में महिला एवं पुरुष खिलाड़ी सभी स्पर्धाओं में हिस्सा लेंगे।
4. Army Lieutenant General John Nicholson was appointed as the commander of the NATO forces in Afghanistan. His nomination to the post was confirmed by US Senate committee. He succeeded US General John Campbell.
आर्मी लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल जॉन निकोल्सन को अफगानिस्तान में नाटो कमांडर नियुक्त किया गया। उनकी नियुक्ति पर यूएस सीनेट कमिटी ने मंजूरी प्रदान की। उन्होंने यूएस जनरल जॉन कैम्पबेल का स्थान लिया।
