1. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, dedicated the state of the art Paradip Refinery in Odisha, to the nation. With this state owned firm has again become country’s top refiner.
प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी ने ओडिशा में अत्याधुनिक पारादीप रिफाइनरी राष्ट्र को समर्पित की। इसके साथ ही यह संयंत्र फिर से देश का शीर्ष तेलशोधक कारखाना बन गया है।
2. India and China conducted their first joint tactical exercise in Ladakh. This joint exercise was conducted in Chushul-Moldo area near India-China border.
भारत और चीन की सेनाओं ने पहला रणनीतिक साझा अभ्यास लद्दाख में किया। ये संयुक्त सैन्य अभ्यास भारत-चीन सरहद के पास चुशुल-मोल्दो इलाके में किया गया।

5. Singer-songwriter Dan Hicks died. Hicks was known as the leader of the acoustic band Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks. He was 74.
गायक-गीतकार डेन हिक्स का निधन हो गया। हिक्स एकॉस्टिक बैंड डेन हिक्स और हिज हॉट लिक्स के लिए जाने जाते रहे हैं। वह 74 वर्ष के थे।
6. The Democratic Republic of Congo won the 2016 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) after beating Mali football team 3-0.
कांगो ने माली की फुटबाल टीम को 3-0 से हराते हुए अफ्रीका नेशंस चैम्पियनशिप-2016 का खिताब जीत लिया।
7. India bagged the gold medal in Compound women’s archery at the 12th South Asian Games (SAG) at the First Ground of the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex.

8. North Korea launched a long-range rocket. The rocket was fired from the Tongchang-ri launch station of North Korea.

9. Global software major Wipro Ltd has won a five-year IT infrastructure management deal from Assa Abloy group, a Swedish major in door opening solutions.
वैश्विक सॉफ्टवेयर कंपनी विप्रो लिमिटेड को स्वीडन की कंपनी आसा एब्लॉय से पांच वर्ष की अवधि वाला सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी (आईटी) अवसंरचना प्रबंधन का एक ठेका मिला।
10. Renowned Urdu and Hindi poet Nida Fazli, 78, died in Mumbai.
उर्दू के मशहूर शायर निदा फाजली का मुंबई में निधन हो गया। वह 78 वर्ष के थे।
